ABOUT THE AREA
Information about this area
With its stunning views along the North Wales coast, over towards Cheshire, the Wirral and across the hills to the village of Betws yn Rhos and the beautiful Denbigh Moors, this area of North Wales offers you a choice of ways in which to relax and enjoy your holiday.
There is something for everyone. Walking, swimming, bike riding, horse riding and nearby trout fishing. Play a round of golf at the nearby Golf Club in Abergele. Visit the dry ski slope in Llandudno or the nearby Nature Reserve at Conwy. Visit the 13th Century Castle in the historic town of Conwy, Bodnant Gardens at Tal-y-Cafn, Conwy Water Gardens and Dutch Pancake House, Anglesey Sea Zoo at Brynsiencyn or the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay.
Take a short drive from the cottage down to Bodelwyddan Castle Park and Gardens. Drive a little further to experience Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, Bounce Below in a massive underground slate cavern at Bleanau Ffestiniog or Zip World at Bethesda travelling at up to 100 mph 500 feet above ground. These are just a few of the many attractions North Wales has to offer and all within easy reach of the cottage.
You may decide to take a gentle stroll through the country lanes around the cottage, or through the surrounding woodland. Why not try and find your way down to the “tower” and enjoy the stunning views along the coast line.
You can have breakfast/lunch/dinner on the patio. Relax and enjoy the sound of the early morning birdsong (or in the evening if you are not an early riser !). Watch the sun set over the surrounding hills and fields at the end of the day, or even set your alarm clock for an early morning start and experience a spectacular sunrise.
